| Clinical Tests Number of Subjects: 100 Average Age of Subjects: 45 Number of Male Subjects: 80 Number of Female Subjects: 20 All of the subjects presented initially with various forms of alopecia and hairloss. The following findings are a result of the clinical trials performed by (Blocked for Privacy Control) Clinic. Milan, Italy The treatment of the subjects with the BHC Treatment System LDS 100 resulted in a photoreception at the mitochondrial level. Specifically, the radiation was absorbed at the level of the respiratory chain (cytochromes, oxidized cytochromes, dehydogenase flowin) with the consequent activation of the same chain, activating the NAD (Nicotinamide Adanine Nucleutide). At the cellular membrane level, there is an increase in the activity of the enzyme, Na/K aptasis, which activated the flow of Ca+. The results showed an increase of transduction and amplification of the stimulus in the cellular ambit, with the activation of the cyclical nucleotides which modulate the synthesis of the mRNA and the DNA. The final photoresponse brought about a bio-stimulating effect on various levels of the cellular metabolism. The exposure to the LDS 100, in short, brought an increase in the cellular metabolism accompanied by and increase of the capillary vascular bed of the radiated area, along with an increase in the supply of oxygen. Consequently, this metabolic increase resulted in the drastic diminution of hair loss (evidenced by Fig. 1-A below indicating the high percentages in the antagen stage), accompanied by a reactivation of the mitotic activity at the bulb level with an increase of follicular density and relative diminution of the interfollicular spaces. |
