This is my client Mary.  Mary has totalis which is permanent baldness.  Here I am showing a vacuum fitted cranial hair prosthesis
made with a very fine 'skin'.  Thin skin materials are more breathable and invisible than its thicker skin cousin.  The downside with these
fine skin materials is that longevity is shorter than it's heavy duty cousin.  Common wear and tear of cranial hair prosthesis are bald
spots, thinning, stretching out.  The average client with a vacuum prosthesis will replace it with 4 months to 1 year depending on how
she/he has taken care of it and what kind of material was used to create the vacuum.  Luckily for my clients, I offer a membership plan
so Mary will enjoy additional vacuum hair prosthesis at 50% off since she will need hair forever!
In the of world hair extensions where we want long hair in a hurry and hair replacement where we want to cover up our thin hair, no such
story could ever touch your heart as this.
A preteen cuts off her amazing waist length mane for a young teen with permanent
baldness; totalis.
I had measured Morgan's head for her very own custom vacuum hair prosthesis.  Then I let her select whatever 'skin'
materials she wanted and used that to create her masterpiece.  Morgan likes it to be long, all skin, and appear as if hair is growing from
her scalp.  All 'skin' is best for my totalis patients because the 'skin' material is absorb by the scalp making it real!  See Slide #5?  Mom
thinks it's the most beautiful natural looking piece they had ever seen.  What Chelsea did no words can explain.
